Interest Areas

I am a passionate clinical psychologist who strongly believes that therapy should feel empowering, client-centred and importantly, collaborative and safe. Building a strong alliance, and allowing my clients to be their authentic selves is extremely important in my practice. I aim to employ a  warm, compassionate and curious approach, making meaningful connections where we collaboratively explore goals to support mental health and overall wellbeing. I pride myself in my genuine, down-to-earth approach, where I bring honesty, curiosity and transparency in my work. I value showing up as my authentic self in sessions, and believe that meaningful change happens within a real, trusting therapeutic relationship.

Working at a pace that feels right for my clients is key, using evidence based therapies and strategies to help address what is important to each individual. I employ a range of evidenced based therapies in my work, including:

  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
  • Cognitive Behaviour therapy (CBT)
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Mindfulness based strategies
  • Enhanced Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBTE) for eating disorders.

It is important to note that I do not assess nor treat Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID).

I enjoy working with children, adolescents and young adults to explore a range of difficulties that they may be experiencing  such as:

  • anxiety
  • self-worth
  • stress
  • people pleasing

  • relationship difficulties
  • burn-out
  • sleep difficulties

  • emotional regulation and well-being
  • body and eating concerns including eating disorders.
