Interest Areas
My name is Rocco Luppino, and I am a Clinical Psychologist and the practice director of Willow Tree Psychology and Wellbeing. Since my teenage years, I was fascinated with human behaviour; and how the brain and cognitive processes play a significant role in our behaviour, emotions, and thinking process; and how these processes can be used to improve mental health.

This led me to pursue my studies in Clinical Psychology, where I completed my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees at the University of South Australia. My vision was to create a practice that is warm, welcoming, and inclusive. A place where everyone can feel welcome. I am fortunate to work alongside the entire Willow Tree Team not only for assisting in my vision but for their dedication to assisting with the best possible outcome for their clients.

I am an experienced Clinical Psychologist, and I have worked across many settings throughout my career including government, non-government, schools, and private practice settings. I have worked with individuals across the lifespan including children, adolescents, adults, older persons, across a range of mental health difficulties and presentations.

I have built my career working from a gentle, client-centred approach, where I work collaboratively with each individual, and together develop a therapy plan in order to ensure the best outcomes are reached, and the sessions are used to meet individual needs. I work from an evidence-based approach and utilise a range of therapeutic models including; Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Mindfulness, Schema Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Willow Tree Psychology and Wellbeing is an LGBTI+ safe space. I have worked extensively with the LGBTI+ community across the lifespan, providing support, and therapeutic interventions.

I am passionate about working with and providing support to individuals and couples in the area of infertility, In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF), surrogacy, parenting, and adoption. Starting a family can be a difficult process, and can take its emotional toll. I am passionate about providing the necessary psychological support, guidance, and strategies to assist with this process.

I have a particular interest in working with people experiencing:

  • Anxiety, Fears, and Phobias
  • Anger & Aggressive Behaviour
  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Bullying - Developing Resilience
  • Depression
  • Emotional Regulation

  • LGBTIQ+
  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
  • Oppositional Defiance
