Interest Areas 

I am a Clinical Psychologist with over a decade of experience working in public sector mental health. During this time, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals aged 16 and over who are navigating a wide range of experiences, including anxiety, depression, adjustment difficulties, emotional dysregulation, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, borderline personality disorder, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, insomnia, stress, grief and loss, low self-esteem, PTSD and trauma, and psychosis.

 

I view every person as unique and important. I believe in the importance of building trust, rapport and hope, and working at a pace that is manageable for each individual. My approach is grounded in warmth, compassion, and curiosity, and I see it as an honour to support people to make sense of what they’re experiencing, why it may be happening and exploring new strategies to manage their specific situation and symptoms.
 
I primarily draw on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness approaches. However, I also incorporate other evidence-based practices as clinically indicated, within my scope of practice.
 
I am also a board-approved supervisor and have experience supervising psychologists across all stages of their professional development.

I provide clinical supervision to a number of psychologists at Willow Tree Psychology and Wellbeing.
