Here at Willow Tree Psychology, we understand the complexities and dififculteis that those who identfy as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgencer, Intersex (LGBTI+) face compared to their hetrosexual peers, and thus are able to provide a safe environent to support, provide therpay and guidance.

 

We are also passionate about working with parents with children from 0-4. Parenting can also take an emotional toll, We believe that providing support to parents, as well as incorporating strategies that parents can use with their children can be beneficial for psychological wellbeing. We believe in a developmental approach, incorporating emotional regulation, and mindfulness.

 

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

We are able to provide psychological services to NDIS participants who are Self-Funded or Plan Managed.  We are unable to provide psychological services to participants with funds managed by NDIA. Child Psychology

Sessions

Willow Tree Psychology and Wellbeing offer targeted psychological interventions for children, adolescents and youth. The first meeting generally completed in collaboration with the parents/caregivers as well as the young person. Our clinical psychologists will take the time to get to know you, and the family structure, and understand what brings you in contact with our service. Our sessions are 50-minutes in duration, and we will use a range of evidence-based psychological interventions that is most suitable for each person. Sessions are completed in our therapy room at 416 Magill Road, Kensington Gardens, SA, 5068. There is also capacity to complete the sessions at an offsite location such as a school. We provide either short-term or medium-term psychology services, and each session is guided by individual and family-based goals.  

 

There is no hard and fast rule of how many sessions you will have as each individual will work with our team to tailor a therapeutic approach to meet their needs.  At Willow Tree Psychology and Wellbeing our highly experience team of Clinical Psychologists have leading clinical experience working with children, adolescents, experiencing a wide range of difficulties.  We provide psychological services in the following areas;

Coaching for Success

We also provide a range of exceptional coaching services to empower children and young people to manage a number of triggering antecedents and stress trigger points related to education. 

Our children and teenager personal coaching services are targeted short term psychological interventions aimed at maximising individual potential.  

 

The pressures on children and young people to exceed and perform in academia can at times brings unwanted negative pressures and stressors that inhibit performance. Our coaching focuses on developing the appropriate management and life skills to manage these stressors in a practical way.  Our coaching sessions are ideal for;
